Chief Executive Officer
Russell Ball is Chief Executive Officer of Wind River Holdings®, a private investment company, which acquires and grows businesses in partnership with management. These companies include Philadelphia Mixing Solutions (agitators for the water treatment and chemical industries); Philadelphia Gear Corporation (high performance gears and gear drives); Samson Rope Technologies (the market leader in high performance cordage); Goddard Systems, Inc. (franchised child care centers), AMC Delancey (real estate), The Haven Group, Inc. (custom and semi-custom homes), and Conestoga Bank (community bank).
Previous to his current position, Mr. Ball was involved in the growth and divestiture of a variety of manufacturing businesses. He earned his BA from Harvard University and MBA from Pennsylvania State University.
Mr. Ball currently sits on the Board of Governors of Merion Golf Club and he serves on the Board of Directors of Ascend Acquisition Corporation. He is also a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization. Mr. Ball, a 1984 graduate of the Haverford School, lives in Gladwyne, PA with his wife, son and daughter. He enjoys skiing, fly-fishing and golf, and was formerly a top ranked U.S. amateur squash player.
