Andrew K. Janas
Vice President and Associate General Counsel

Andrew Janas serves Wind River Holdings® as Vice President and Associate General Counsel. Mr. Janas’ primary responsibilities include working on Wind River’s legal matters, overseeing its investment committee and working on the mergers and acquisitions team.

Prior to joining Wind River, from 1998 to 2003 Mr. Janas was a principal in Gatehouse Ventures and CD Ventures – two private equity sponsor firms specializing in consolidations in fragmented business service industry sectors. Prior to that, he served as Associate General Counsel supporting the treasury department at Advanta Corp., a publicly traded financial services company. From 1991 to 1996, Mr. Janas was an associate in the business department of the law firm of Dechert Price & Rhoads, with a practice focused on mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Janas also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Donald VanArtsdalen, a federal district court judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Janas received a BA, summa cum laude, in Political Science from Gettysburg College and his JD, magna cum laude, from The University of Pennsylvania. He resides in Wayne, PA with his wife.
